Project introduction
Guangzhou International Financial City Project is an important strategic plan made by the Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee and the Guangzhou Municipal Government to implement the strategy of "powerful city of finance" and promote the construction of Guangzhou regional financial center, and it is also one of the first batch of PPP demonstration projects in Guangzhou, with a total investment of about RMB 8.94 billion and a total land area of about 1.32 square kilometers. The construction scope includes eight sub-projects, namely Huacheng Avenue Construction, Traffic Road Construction in the Area, Linjiang Avenue Construction, River Regulation, Public Landscaping Supporting Work, Lingnan Style Walking Street, Wharf Work and Janxia Tributary Regulation, with a construction period of 2.5 years and an operation period of 20 years.
The Project is a composite underground urban complex integrating transportation, commerce, public service, parking and green municipal construction, representing the most advanced underground space development level in the world at present, having the most perfect underground space functions, marking a major step taken by Guangzhou to actively interface with the national development strategy of "the Belt and Road Initiative" and create a powerful city of finance.
