Speedup Upgrading Project of Fangcun Avenue South
Project introduction
Speedup Upgrading Project of Fangcun Avenue South is the first prefabricated viaduct pilot project in Guangdong Province and the first fully prefabricated viaduct in southern China. The structure above pile cap is fully prefabricated in factory and assembled on site. And 90% of the components above the top surface of pile cap are prefabricated. It is an AA grade prefabricated project at the leading level in China. The project was completed and put in service in October 2019. The construction cost is about RMB 650 million. The prefabricated viaduct has a length of about 1.2 km and a design speed of 60 km/h. Components including pier columns, capping beams, steel box girders, decks, medians, and crash barriers are prefabricated.
