Building M3 of Standard Industrial Unit Phase IV of Guangzhou International Bio Island, with a prefabrication rate of 80%, is a prefabricated building demonstration project of Guangdong Province. With a gross floor area of 13,000 square meters and a building height of 59.7 meters, the building consists of 1 floor under ground and 12 floors above ground. The main structure of the building is a prefabricated reinforced concrete combination system. MEP wires are laid in conduits and boxes that are embedded in the process of component prefabrication. Components including columns, beams, shear walls, concealed columns, floor slabs, sunken bathrooms, and stairs are prefabricated.
As a demonstration project for external publicity designated by Guangzhou Municipal Housing and Building M3 of Standard Industrial Unit Phase IV of Guangzhou International Bio Island receives many visits made by local enterprises and government departments.
